Beautiful Plants For Your Interior
About the Marketplace
So, what exactly is this place?
It’s a shop. But it’s not just a shop.
The Marketplace is a collection of things that caught my eye, made me curious, solved a problem, sparked an idea, or simply felt like they belonged here.
Some things are useful.
Some are beautiful.
Some are a little strange.
And some of them are here because every good metaphysical shop needs at least a few things that make you stop and say, “Oh … I need that.”
WHAT YOU’LL FIND HERE
Three or four “doors” into the Marketplace:
THE USEFUL
Tools for tarot, ritual, divination and everyday magical practice.
THE BEAUTIFUL
Crystals, jewellery, textiles and objects that deserve a place in your home.
THE HANDMADE
Things made here, by hand, in small quantities. Which means when they’re gone… they’re gone.
THE CURIOUS
The things that don’t fit neatly into a category – and probably shouldn’t.
That last category is particularly good for you because it gives you permission to carry weird little things without having to justify them.
A WORD FROM THE WOMAN BEHIND THE COUNTER
I’ve been reading tarot, working with spirit and wandering the edges of the mystical world for a long time.
Along the way, I’ve become increasingly suspicious of anything that tells you spirituality requires you to switch off your common sense.
It doesn’t.
You can believe in mystery and still ask questions.
You can work with tarot without handing your authority over to the cards.
You can have a spiritual practice without pretending you’re above being human.
That’s the kind of space I’m interested in creating: Spirituality with both feet on the ground.
Where spirituality doesn’t require you to abandon your intelligence.
The Marketplace Philosophy
You don’t need to believe everything.
Curiosity is enough.
The cards don’t make your decisions.
Neither do I.
A crystal won’t fix your life.
But if holding one helps you remember what you’re trying to change, that’s worth something.
You are allowed to question things.
Especially things people tell you you’re not supposed to question.
You don’t have to perform spirituality here.
Come as you are.
